| The music of Dirty Americans conveys a broad spectrum of sounds within the realm of Rock. From the band's more melodic upbeat songs such as "Burn You Down", to the laid back groove of "Trip To The Moon" it is apparent to the listener that Dirty Americans embody the true essence of what it means to be a Detroit Rock band. According to Freedom, "The Dirty Americans was created in the wake of a long and trying quest to succeed and survive, musically and emotionally. Lyrically, that is the core of what our songs are written about.

| The group has worked diligently to produce a 'Down Home Scrap' sound that its fans can depend on. It has been entertaining the Ann Arbor/Detroit area for over two years. The members' versatile live stage performances have carried them through a variety of listening audiences including: live television and radio shows, art gatherings, benefit appearances, night clubs, bars, coffee shops, and private parties. The thick pounding tom toms, driving infectious bass lines, and random ambient keyboard crafting combine with an array of cosmic guitar leads and rusty guitar rhythms that allow the crowd to focus on the particularly characteristic vocal duo melodies. This intellectual ambience is what captivates the audience with a sense of belonging. |
