This is no art rock collective. No posturing and no posing, this is Rock & Roll. With a sound reminiscent of a spark-knocking 67' Chevy Nova, an aesthetic as familiar as the Cass Corridor, and a work ethic that would break your old man, Inside Five Minutes has subsided on & redefined a philosophy known as Lager Rock. There are no black turtlenecks, baby tees, or $10 six packs of beer. Only dirty t-shirts from a full days work, grease stained boots, and a cracked cooler full of luke warm Blatz. Since 1999 IFM has been pissing in the gene pool of its rock forefathers and creating an altered version of Michigan noise. Not since the rationals, or ? and the mysterians has a local music scene felt a wall of sound as gritty and pure as this.
