Out of Monroe, MI, this 4 piece brings a new sound to the ears of michiganers. some describe it as hardcore/power groove. The band has been around since 1996 but has been newly reformed with a more dedicated sound and a mature musical sound that makes everyone want to move. With 3 National shows under our belts we plan on implanting our name into the minds of every Man, woman and child in michigan.........and EVERY WHERE ELSE!

Crotch
Crotch is an eclectic mix of heavy metal, classic rock, and today's indescribable new sound. They do a mix of high-energy original songs and covers of bands from Limp Bizkit, Linkin Park, and Korn to Taproot and System of a Down. In the past they have also done covers of songs by the Doors (5 to 1), the Beatles (Helter Skelter), ZZtop (Cheap Sunglasses) and even originated the heavy-metal version of Murder was the Case by Snoop Dogg that other bands are now imitating. Crotch has a little something for everyone, and puts on a great live show which always gets the crowd going.

i-defy
Hatred, violence, injustice, racism, pain, inequality.....these are all a part of our everyday reality. These things affect us everyday, yet we often close our eyes to what is going on around us. The words of i-defy express these realities in a way that motivates others to open their eyes and their mouths. The music of i-defy will make the listener want to punch holes in the wall and scream at the top of their lungs at everything and everyone that has ever inflicted pain.

Killing the Ruckus
stomping ass aggressive music touches a lot of different genres but just stomps the whole way through. songs like Press Your Luck, All Mine, and Exasperation, really show the talent musically in this band. the vocals are sharp precise verbal razors that intend to inflict your ears. it truly is a thing of violence and beauty.

Mental Hell
With Classical twists and ever enveloping guitar work, Mental Hell forces the listener into a morbid state of euphoria. Mood setting is the trademark of this dreamscape. With songs like "Darkmage And The Demonseed", based on the novel Necroscope by Brian Lumley, I am conceptually minded. Ever searching for other musicians to share my vision, I will continue to develop more extravagant and more complex metal no matter what the current scene deplores. Right now, as a search continues for likeminded musicians, I am promoting my self titled debut EP, Mental Hell.

Wicked Wish
Though Wicked Wish headlined venues such as Harpo's, Danny's Canadian and the Main Act, Prokuda says the Ritz Reunion show in February was a high point for the trio. "We got to see tons of our friends we haven't seen in years and got to mingle with all the old band members," he says. "It brought back the excitement of the old days."

Rising From The Ashes
Hailing from St. Clair/Marysville, Rising From The Ashes brings together 6 members each with their own diverse set of influences to add into the RFTA mix. Their influences range from jazz to emo to hip hop to modern day's hardcore and grindcore. With such a wide variety of influences and ideas, their sure to always add something thats "out there" to their music, keeping it diverse and fresh. Not only are they good at switching things up in their music, whether it be changing from brutal chugs to pretty clean chords to upbeat post-hardcore riffs, but they've also been known to put more energy into their live shows then most local and even big bands do. Its their energy and passion for this music, that shows they have the motivation and the drive to do what it takes to make something of themselves and bring the music scene a freshly brewed ass kicking!
