History:
Curious Jack officially began as the band Phruitopia in 1996, with co-workers Jeff and Tony writing parody songs for company gatherings. This blossomed into a successful run of writing sports-related parody songs for WDFN SportsRadio 1130 AM in Detroit. Out of this relationship came many opportunities for live performances, and the full band was born. Jeff, Nate and Neal grew up together and have been playing in bands since 1989. Tony is a lifetime music junkie and has been gigging even longer. The Jacks enjoy playing many different brands of music, from the obligatory Zeppelin and Skynyrd to the more modern stylings of Creed and Foo Fighters. Curious Jack has performed at Rick's in East Lansing, Blarney Stone Pub in Berkley, and Snookers in Utica to name a few. Please see our web site for more in-depth bios and much more cool stuff.
