History:
Formed in 1989 by former George Clinton & Parliament/Funkadelic Drummer Gabe Gonzalez.The band has had several line-up changes over the years but in a very cool fraternal way.It keeps the band sounding fresh & timeless which is still @ the forefront of what it pioneered in Detroit 20 years prior to now!Though there are a few alumni & original members in the fold the band is rare & unorthdox for many reasons.
One is the band's vocals are performed by the drummer & rythm section,the band also performs with dual bass players & guitarist for a "WALL of SOUND",& yes we have a D.J.
who performs,cuts,&mixes sounds with the live band for that Hip-Hop street sound element.The band has opened for many international groups like Black Eyed Peas, Rage Against the Machine,Bad Brains,P-Funk Fishbone,Ernie Isley,Buddy Miles,and Dave Mason who actually opened for us at Stephens Talkhouse in New York to name a few.The band also performed the second stage on the Lollapalooza early line-ups as well as toured around the country & Canada
