History:
Anisa's vocal style is as haunting as her stories. She composes melodies reminiscent of Joni Mitchell- from low and sultry to soaring and sweet to sometimes a little jazzy. Her soulful voice also pays fitting tribute to the works of artists such as Sheryl Crow, Pearl Jam, The Indigo Girls, Dave Mathews, and other favorite pop and folk artists.
Anisa has in performed in West Michigan for the past 10 years in clubs, coffee houses, music festivals, and private parties. She has been featured on several local radio stations, including Blue Lake Public Radio, WGVU, WYCE, 100.1 Sunny FM, and 102.7 WMOM. Her second CD was released in October 2007.
