History:
As the new millemium approached, three old friends welcomed a new challenge; to play the music they that loved and buck the "post-seattle sound" system. While future heavy-weights like Sevendust, Staind, Full Devil Jacket, Ugly Mus-tard and Godsmack languished in independent record store bins, Big Daddy and the Groovemasters decided to follow their gut instincts and bring heavy rock back to the stages of the Motor City.
Six years later, after a lengthy hiatus that has seen former members Shawn Moore and Brian "SLAM" Germaine move on to enjoy critical acclaim in popular regional acts Abandon and Mindrought, the time is right for Big Daddy and the Groovemasters to stand and be counted amongst Detroit's growing number of quality heavy rock acts.
While putting the finishing touches on the much anticipated "Meat Big Daddy and the Groovemasters" the power trio prepares for life in the spotlight once again. "Meat" is scheduled to be released in November 2007 with supporting shows to be announced
