History:
Adam was born in Jackson, Michigan July 10, 1983. From an early age he showed a knack for music. Growing up in a lower income family showed him that you definitely have to work to get yours, nothing comes without a price. Once in college, Adam, who went under the persona "Adam James," began to embark in freestyle sessions, living and breathing hip-hop. Later, after a friend placed the idea in his head he began to write and record songs at a local studio with several other friends, one of which worked nights at the studio. From there his talent and natural ability came through in his early recordings catching the attention of already successful MC's. But, after only one year in college, Adam went back home to finish school and be closer to his soon to be finance. Several years later he has made his return to the game and brought us such local classics as "My Hometown", "Im'a Make You Love Me" and the ever infectious "Bartender." (All of which can be previewed ans downloaded from his website http://www.myspace.com/adamjames83) Now working on his major solo debut only time will tell where Adam James will end up in the world of hip-hop.
