History:
Band was formed about 10 yrs. ago. Mike&Thom Phillips from the Det. area and SW MI. native C.Buggs Combs. The Phillips bros. relocated to Sw MI. area and the rest fell into place. The band doesn't travel out of MI. much anymore, but they are backing Austin singer/songwriter Charlie Burton for a midwest tour in Aug. They continue to do festivals and local bars and breweries throughout the area. C.Buggs is the primary songwriter&bassist, with Mike on guitar, and Thom pounding tubs. The band's motto is, If it's got more than 3 chords it's jazz. C.Buggs also does an every Sun.blues gig at the Old Hat in Lawton with Dave Hunt from 7th Son on harp, and Brent Chilton on guitar, with guest drummers. He also has a swingin' Honky Tonk band, The Tone Chaperones,that play original and hardcore country.
