History:
With just one CD under their belt, Broadzilla has been fueling the fires of frantic fans everywhere. The music is furiously fast and contagious, the lyrics are pissed off and ballsy and the vocals are a raw-melodic blend that keeps the band from sounding too sweet or too raunchy. Performing throughout the Mid-West and venturing out of town regularly, Broadzilla has opened for such acts as the Deftones, Joan Jett, the Sex Pistols, L7, the Goo Goo Dolls, Veruca Salt, Tribe 8, Full Devil Jacket, the Lunachicks, MU330 and the Impotent Sea Snakes. They've also made big impressions at large scale shows such as the '97 annual "Spiderland Acres Punkfest" in Marmara Canada, where they dominated in the company of over 80 bands only to return and take the headlining spot in '98. Most recently Broadzilla opened the eyes of Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst who invited them to perform on the opening night of the Napster-sponsored Limp Bizkit tour in Detroit along with Cypress Hill.
