History:
Moniker started out as the brainchild of current Mustard Plug guitarist/vocalist Colin Clive. While touring with Mustard Plug, he envisioned starting a new punk-influenced band that would draw upon the attitude, melodies and live shows of those bands that he grew up with. Combining members of such well know bands as Mustard Plug, North Lincoln, Don Knotts & Carton; Moniker found its line-up. With Colin Clive on vocals and guitar, Craig DeYoung on lead guitar, Ian Townsend on bass and John Massel on drums, they were ready.
After spending the summer of 2001 practicing endless hours in their smelly basement, they emerged in November of 2001 fired up and ready. Honing there live show with weekly gigs in Grand Rapids and opening slots with both Alkaline Trio, Agent Orange and the Dead Kennedys, they
