History:
Rich Cox(28), and Matt Card(24), of Port Huron, began their musical voyage about ten years ago. A few years ago they hooked up with another long time friend that was also a multitalented musician named Aaron Ernst(23). He added yet another style to the musical stew that is hard to describe because it has many ingredients: Helmet, Hendrix, Black Sabbath, Beastie Boys, Primus, Slayer, Run D.M.C., & Black Flag. Determined to be an "original"band, they were frowned on by local bars that wanted "cover bands". Boost & Switch is self-promoted, self-produced, & they are the big worms in the little apple of Port Huron. They have played at St. Andrew's, Harpo's, The 7th House, and countless local shows. They won the Battle of the Blue Water Area Bands by impressing the judges with their ability to Switch instruments between songs and all three of them are not shy on the mic.
