Description:
The Wrenfields , an original Alt-Country / Roots Rockin' group from Detroit, Michigan, was formed by seasoned musicians with the intent of stopping at almost nothing to make their mark in the music business. With influences such as The Jayhawks, Wilco, Sheryl Crow, The Beatles, David Byrne and others, The Wrenfields are stretching the boundaries of the burgeoning Alternative-Country movement in every respective manner.

History:
The group is the culmination of popular Detroit-Area bands, the Miracleberries and Killer Flamingo's, and its members have performed at many high-profile events including affairs hosted by Tom Arnold and Chris Farley, as well as at area concert venues and festivals as the opening act for major recording artists. Detroit radio is no stranger to the band either. They have been featured on WJR's "The Mitch Albom show", Disney-owned WPLT, and on WRIF, the grandfather of Detroit Rock-n-Roll radio. Budweiser and Miller Genuine Draft have been involved in sponsorship roles. The members of The Wrenfields bring a vast assemblage of musical experience and expertise to the band, having shared the stage with such artists as Mitch Ryder, Robert Bradley's Blackwater Surprise, Rhythm Corps, Spencer Davis, Sponge, Verve Pipe, Chuck Berry and others.
