History:
Great American Rock And Roll has always shared elements of many different styles and cultures. Trends and styles change through the years but rock has always had it's roots in high energy music. Enter Bad Oscar, a new band that encompasses and embraces the basic elements of great rock and roll, as well as creating a fresh cutting edge sound. Bad Oscar's roots began in the great-lakes state of Michigan, where music and culture are blended together to churn out many national touring acts. Oscar features four musicians from prominent area bands to form a powerhouse ensemble. Their sound is a brick wall of guitar hooks with compelling lyrics and melody, leaving the listener wanting more at every performance. Bad Oscar's lineup features Rich Nuyen (Lead Vocals), Phil Wiswell (Guitar, Backing Vocals), Jimmy Kryptonite (Bass, Backing Vocals), and Shawn Rainer (Drums, Backing Vocals). All musicians have toured locally and nationally, as well as recorded in former bands. With the members coming from different styles of music, the writing is always fresh and energetic. Much like the great rock and roll bands of the past. The band is currently recording their debut CD to be released in...
