History:
The core of the band, Marion (that's me), Jordy and Lisa, have been friends for many years and got together after people at parties kept commenting at how well we harmonized together. We basically started off as an acoustic band with Jordy and Marion playing guitar. Later, Lisa added keyboards and the sound of the band began to change to a blend of acoustic/electric rock. Lisa left the band to pursue a master's degree and Jordy and Marion got together with a few other musicians to carry along. Eventually Lisa re-joined the band (it wasn't the same without her), Marion switched to bass and Tubes Of Fear was officially born. Marc joined the band soon after, rounding out the sound that we were looking for. Finding and keeping a drummer was another story!!! How many have we gone through guys? At least a dozen that we can recall. Hey, they say that good things come to those who wait (and wait and wait). Our latest and greatest is Jerry Shankin. He's a great guy with a fantastic sense of humor and hey, he's a damn good drummer too. Wow, how did we manage that? Together we bring a refreshing sound with ringing guitars, 3 part harmonies and lots of drive. The band enjoys being...
