History:
Formed in 1993 around Detroit's husband and wife songwriting team C.J. and John Milroy, the band was solidified in 2001 with the addition of Pat Shanley on lead/rhythm acoustic guitars, Michael Hacala on drums and percussion, Mark Iannace on harmony vocals and accordion, and Luke Sayers on upright bass. The band's sound features strong 4-part vocal harmonies, acoustic guitars, upright bass, accordions, flute, drums and percussion, mandolin, dobro, musical saw, as well as lots of other noisemakers. The music is highlighted by thoughtful, storytelling lyrics. Entertainment is an equally important focus for the band, and the audiences are always left smiling!
